Dr. Mata draws on a lifetime experience of practicing and teaching meditation. In his one-on-one sessions he conveys an understanding of the basic components of meditating, the psychological, emotional, mental aspects, the ”how to meditate.” The intent is to quiet and suspend the ordinary, usually out of control mind and access an inner sense of self and minding-the calm and tranquil self, which cannot be stressed, which is naturally complete and fulfilled.
The purpose of meditation is to access and identify with that self and quiet mind. A dedicated practice is a transformative experience. It changes how we experience life and how we live life. Beyond stress reduction, meditation makes life significant.
